In the collaborative work TUNIS, a tourist memory is confronted with
a diversely ambiguous soundtrack. Individual tracks from different
media products are woven into a fragile structure. News broadcasts with
Tunisia and North Africa, as well as local field recordings and lyrical
found objects. The film is a montage that constantly produces tensions
between the image, the sound and viewpoints, also in the cross-section through the time periods.
