Diving into myself – ein Ausstöpsel-Angebot
Die Grenzen des Raumes lösen sich augenblicklich auf, sobald du den Kopf ins schwarze Loch steckst. Das Gesicht, in dem sich alle Wahrnehmungssinne bündeln, wird abgeschnitten von der Umgebung. Es bleibt: die Eigen-Wahrnehmung.
Die Vorstellung, als kopfloser Körper im Raum zu stehen ist dabei immer mit einem Kontrollverlust verbunden. Und mit einer Wahrnehmungsverschiebung. Gleichzeitig wirkt der Akt des sich Aus-Stöpselns als performative Handlung im Kontext der Ausstellung.
The boundaries of space dissolve for a moment as soon as you place your head in the black hole. The face, where all senses come together gets cut off from any environmental stimuli. Self-perception remains.
The mere idea of standing in space as a headless body is always connected to losing control. And a shift of perception. From the outside view, the use of this self-plugging-out-device is also a performative action in the context of the exhibition.
